@RomeFortune came through the crib to record a joint, all punk rocked out with customized individualism. Let’s just note what’s goin on here: Mr. Fortune has torn off the sleeves of his Levi’s denim jacket, added nails to the jacket as makeshift studs, duct taped the rip on his Nudie already self-made jorts, and accessorized with a newsboy hat and MAKESHIFT keyboard pin.

Well… I found it kinda fascinating how all the young black kids the last couple years are looking more and more like these guys. In past years, it would’ve been pretty much near unacceptable to dress this way as a black person, but now all the cool kids are doing it. I think it’s a step in the right direction for being comfortable in your own skin and style is definitely a good thing.
