The good ppl of the Athens-based YFF Mag asked me to colorfully document their ATL launch party. The festivities included a bunch of artsy smartsies, young and old, having a blast with eclectic tunes from Deerhunter and Atlas Sounds genius frontman Bradford Cox.

Sid Mashburn is one of my favorite places in all of Atlanta. Sid and his team were the first, that I know of, preaching the now uber popular preppy, Americana, heirloom craze. This was back in 07! I brought my first pair of Quoddy’s then. Nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. Now, his wifey has a neighboring boutique, Ann Mashburn for the ladies!

First, I’m performing tonight w young Rome Fortune —–>9 o’clock. MASQUERADE. A3C. Shouts to the organizers of the event.

In other cities, I don’t like fn with indie hip hop shows, unless I’m performing, cuz it’s always a bunch of hip hop nerds, undeveloped artists, and the bad kind of blipsters, —–ALL of them happened to be MEN.

Except in ATL, for some reason the women, and cute ones, come out to support the indie hip hop scene, and it’s always been that way. OKAAAY DEN! Here’s a taste of the estrogen that was in the building!
